I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
