The Bianconeri Appoint Former Italy Boss the Experienced Gaffer

The Serie A powerhouse have appointed previous Azzurri head coach Spalletti to take the helm for the remainder of the campaign.

Spalletti replaces his predecessor, who was let go following the loss to Lazio recently.

Tudor arrived at the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint after an eight-game winless streak.

Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, after the team's failure to reach the 2022 World Cup under former boss Roberto Mancini.

He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.

Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.

Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday moving them to seventh position in the league - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.

They are 25th in the league phase of the Champions League, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
